  • A sponge or soft cloth

Step-by-Step Guide to Cleaning Urine Stains

  1. Blot up as much of the urine as you can with a sponge or soft cloth.
  2. Mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water. If necessary, add a small amount of mild detergent.
  3. Soak a sponge or cloth in the solution and apply it to stained area.
  4. Gently rub and blot stain until it is gone.
  5. Rinse off the fabric with plain warm water.
  6. Let the area air dry or use a hair dryer on the cool setting.
