Step 1: Scrape up the Excess Urine

Using a spoon or a blunt knife, scrape away any excess urine from the surface of the jacket. Be careful not to press too hard, and take care not to damage the fabric.

Step 2: Apply Urine Stain Remover

Apply a urine stain remover solution to the affected area of jacket. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before wiping away with a clean, soft cloth. Repeat this step until the stain is gone.

Step 3: Wash Jacket with Detergent

Fill a sink or bucket with warm water and a mild detergent. Soak the jacket in the cleaning solution for at least 30 minutes. After, rinse the jacket with fresh, cool water.

Step 4: Use a Stain Lifter/OxyClean Solution

Mix a solution of one part OxyClean and one part water. Soak the stained area of the jacket in this solution for at least 20 minutes or longer if necessary. Rinse jacket with fresh, cool water after soaking.

Step 5: Dry on Low Heat

Finally, put the jacket in your dryer on the lowest heat setting. Do not let it stay in there too long, as this can cause the fabric to shrink. Check on the jacket every 10 minutes or so to make sure it isn't getting too hot.

Conclusion

With these five easy steps, you can get rid of urine stains from your jacket in no time. Just remember to always use a mild detergent and cold water when cleaning the fabric, and do not use too much heat when drying the jacket. Once you are finished following these steps, your jacket will look as good as new.
