Urine is a tricky stain, but luckily it's possible to clean up without ruining your guipure lace. The key is to act quickly and spot treat the stain before it sets in. Here are the steps:

  • First, try to blot up as much of the urine as you can. Use a paper towel or a cloth.
  • Mix a solution of 2 cups water and 2 tablespoons of white vinegar.
  • Using a spray bottle, lightly spritz stained area with the vinegar solution.
  • Use a cloth to gently scrub the area for about 30 seconds.
  • Turn the fabric over and repeat steps 3 & 4 on the other side.
  • Rinse the spot with warm water until you can no longer smell vinegar.
  • Finally, lay the lace flat in the sun to dry.

That's it - you should now have a clean, fresh guipure lace garment. But remember to act quickly next time; sooner you treat the stain, better your chances of success.
