What You'll Need:

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Dish soap
  • Warm water
  • Soft cloth
  • Old toothbrush

Step 1: Blot Any Excess Urine

Take a soft cloth and blot up any excess urine from shoe, being careful not to spread stain further. Once you've done this, put the shoe aside for now and move on to the next step.

Step 2: Make a Vinegar Solution

In a bowl, mix two parts white vinegar with one part warm water. Dip a soft cloth into the solution and dab onto the stain. Let the vinegar solution sit for a few minutes, then use the cloth to blot up any residual vinegar.

Step 3: Create a Baking Soda Paste

Mix baking soda and dish soap together in a bowl to create a thick paste. Apply paste to the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then, take an old toothbrush and scrub the area gently to help remove the stain.

Step 4: Rinse the Stain

Once you've scrubbed area, rinse the shoe with warm water. Blot the area to dry if necessary and let the shoe air dry completely.
