When it comes to cleaning urine out of your coveralls, the best solution is usually a commercial cleaning product specifically designed to remove urine stains and odors. You can find these products at local hardware stores or online. Start by following the instructions on product to dilute it with water, then apply it to the stained area.
Once you’ve applied the cleaning solution, let it sit for about 10 minutes before rubbing it in. Then, rinse the area with cold water and let the coveralls air dry. You may need to repeat this process a few times before stain is fully gone.
If you don’t have access to a store-bought cleaning solution, you can also make your own using baking soda and white vinegar. Start by sprinkling the baking soda over the stain, then spritz some white vinegar on top. Let this mixture sit for a few minutes, then scrub it into stain using a brush.
Once you’ve worked in baking soda and vinegar solution, rinse it off with cold water and let the coveralls air dry. You may need to repeat this process a few times before the stain is fully gone.
If you have access to a steamer, you can use it to quickly and effectively remove stubborn urine stains. Start by filling the steamer with warm water and adjusting the settings so that it creates a hot mist. Then, hold it around 5-7 inches away from the stain and slowly move it in circular motions until the entire stain is covered.
Once stain has been steamed, let the coveralls sit for a few minutes before rinsing the area with cold water. Finally, let your coveralls air dry before inspecting them to make sure the stain is gone.
