Instructions

  1. Blot up as much of the urine stain as possible using paper towels or a clean white cloth.
  2. Mix together 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, ¼ teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent, and 1 cup of warm water.
  3. Using a clean cloth, sponge the solution onto urine stain.
  4. Allow the solution to sit for approximately 10 minutes.
  5. Rinse the area with warm water.
  6. If the stain remains, mix a solution of 2 tablespoons of ammonia, 1 tablespoon of liquid dishwashing detergent, and 1 cup of warm water.
  7. Sponge the solution onto the remaining urine stain.
  8. Allow the solution to sit for 10 minutes.
  9. Rinse the area with warm water and blot dry.

Additional Tips

  • Always test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous spot of fabric before applying it to stain.
  • Avoid using hot water or heat on the stained area, as this may set the stain.
