Before attempting to remove the stain, it's important to absorb any remaining liquid with a paper towel. Blot the stained area and allow it to dry for several minutes.
Once the area has dried, apply a small amount of laundry detergent to the stain. Rub the detergent into the fabric using your fingers and then let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
After the detergent has had time to work, sprinkle a small amount of Borax over the stain. This natural powder is an effective stain remover, so you'll want to be generous in your application.
Rinse the shirt in cold water, then soak it in a solution of hydrogen peroxide and cold water for 15 minutes. Afterward, wash the shirt as you normally would in cold water.
Cleaning urine stains from collared shirts can be a challenge, but following these simple steps will help you get rid of the stain without damaging your clothing. Just remember to act quickly and use the right products!
