1. Blot the Stain

The first step is to blot stain with a clean cloth. Blotting will help absorb any moisture that’s still on the fabric, and will also help you determine how much of the stain has been absorbed into the fabric.

2. Mix a Cleaning Solution

Mix one part detergent with two parts warm water. Make sure the detergent you choose is suitable for washing delicate fabrics.

3. Apply the Cleaning Solution

Using a clean cloth, apply the cleaning solution directly to stain. Make sure to use a gentle scrubbing motion so as not to damage the fabric.

4. Rinse with Water

Rinse the area with clean water to remove any detergent residue.

5. Blot with a Towel

Blot the area with a clean towel to absorb any remaining moisture.

6. Let Dry

Allow the area to air dry completely.

7. Repeat as Necessary

If the stain is still visible, repeat steps above until the stain is gone.
