Removing Urine Stains from Boots

  1. First, spot clean the area with a clean cloth and cool water. Be sure to use only light pressure so as not to rub stain into the material.
  2. Next, mix one teaspoon of mild detergent, such as a baby shampoo, with one cup of cool water. Dip a clean cloth into mixture and blot stain.
  3. Rinse the stained area with a clean cloth and cool water, then allow boots to air dry.
  4. If the stain is still present, mix one tablespoon of baking soda with one-half cup of hydrogen peroxide. Mix until it forms a paste and spread the paste over the stain. Allow it to sit for several minutes, then wipe away.
  5. Finally, launder the boots according to care instructions on the label.
