How to Easily Remove Urine Stains from Your Blazer

Steps for Cleaning Urine Stains from a Blazer

  • If the urine stained area is still wet, use a paper towel or cloth to blot up as much of the urine as possible.
  • Mix one tablespoon of liquid dish detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar in one cup of warm water.
  • With a rag or sponge, dab the mixture onto the stain. Rinse the garment off with cold water.
  • Dab the area with a dry cloth to absorb any remaining moisture.
  • If a faint stain remains, mix 1/3 teaspoon of laundry detergent and 2/3 cup of warm water. Dip a clean cloth into this mixture and apply it to stain.
  • Rinse the area well with cold water. Blot area with a dry cloth.
  • If necessary, apply a stain remover to the urine stain before washing the garment to ensure its complete removal.

  • Urine stains are acidic and may require multiple treatments to completely remove.
  • Always read instructions of an upholstery cleaner before using it on a blazer.
