As soon as urine stains appear on your bikini, soak it in cold water for at least 15 minutes. If possible, take the stained area off and submerge it in a bowl of cold water.
Mix a teaspoon of dishwashing detergent with 1/2 cup of white vinegar. You can also add a few drops of lemon juice to this mixture. The acidic properties in these ingredients will help break down the urine residue.
Dip a clean cloth into the cleaning solution and apply it to the stained area. Gently rub the fabric until the stain is completely gone. Rinse the fabric with cold water and pat it dry with a towel.
Once the stained area is dry, air-dry the fabric in a well-ventilated room. Do not use a hairdryer or any other heating device to speed up the drying process.
To further sanitize the fabric, mix 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol with 1/4 cup of cold water. Dip a cotton ball into the solution and dab it onto the stained area. This will eliminate any traces of bacteria or foul odors.
