Step 1: Assemble Your Cleaning Supplies

To begin, you will need a few household items and cleaning supplies. These include:

  • A cleaning brush or sponge
  • Rubbing alcohol or ammonia
  • Baking soda
  • Laundry detergent
  • Sewing needle and white thread

Step 2: Scrub Away the Stain

Use a cleaning brush or soft sponge to gently scrub away stain. This helps to loosen the particles of urine that are trapped in the fabric of the shoe. Dip the brush or sponge in a solution of rubbing alcohol or ammonia, then scrub the area to dissolve and remove the urine.

Step 3: Apply Baking Soda

After removing as much of the urine as possible, sprinkle baking soda onto affected area. Let the baking soda sit for 30 minutes to absorb any remaining urine. After 30 minutes, use a dry cloth to gently brush off baking soda.

Step 4: Wash the Shoes

If the urine stain still remains, it's time to give the shoes a good wash. Fill a bucket or sink with warm water and add a small amount of laundry detergent. Place the shoes in the soapy water and let them soak overnight. In the morning, rinse them off with cold water and pat them dry with a towel.

Step 5: Sew You Up

If the urine stain has caused any fabric damage or unraveling, you may need to give the shoes a quick sewing. Use a sewing needle and white thread to mend any holes or frayed edges. This will help the shoes last longer and look better.

And You're Done!

After following these five steps, you should have successfully removed the urine stain from your beloved ASICS shoes. Enjoy your freshly-cleaned shoes and be sure to keep them away from any more bathroom accidents.
