What You’ll Need
- Dry clean-only Armani garment
- Lint-free cloths
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Baking soda
- Mild laundry detergent
- Cold water
Instructions
- Blot the stain with a lint-free cloth. Don't scrub the fabric—the goal is to lift the stain, not push it further into the material.
- Create a cleaning solution by mixing an equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and water. Alternatively, you can combine 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 1/4 cup of cold water.
- Using a cloth, gently dab the stain with your cleaning solution of choice. Allow the solution to penetrate stain for five minutes.
- Rinse area with cold water.
- Spot treat remaining stains with a mild laundry detergent and let it sit for 10 — 15 minutes.
- Rinse stained area with cold water.
- Pat the fabric dry with a lint-free cloth.
Additional Tips
- As soon as you notice stain, act quickly. The longer the urine remains on your garment, harder it will be to remove.
- Avoid using heat or steam as this may set stain, making it even more difficult to remove.
- If stain remains after trying the above methods, take your garment to a professional dry cleaner for assistance.
