If you catch the stain when it's still fresh, you can try to use soap and water to clean area. First, rinse the garment under cool running water. Then, use a mild, liquid Detergent Soap to gently scrub the area.
If the stain is particularly stubborn, you can try soaking activewear in a mixture of detergent and warm water. Make sure not to use hot water, as this can actually set stain permanently. Allow the garment to soak for up to half an hour before rinsing it off in cold water.
If soap and water don't do the trick, you may need to reach for a stronger solution. Ammonia or white vinegar can both be effective at removing urine stains from activewear. Dilute the ammonia or vinegar with a 1:1 ratio of water before applying it to the stain. Let sit for about 10 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
Once you've successfully removed stain, you'll want to make sure the activewear is properly cleaned. Use a mild liquid detergent to launder the garment according to care instructions. For best results, hang it to dry rather than using the dryer.
