Urine stains on clothing and other accessories are common for children and pets, and thankfully, not a permanent problem. With the right cleaners and some elbow grease, you'll be able to get rid of your urine stains in no time.

Steps for Cleaning Urine Stains from Accessories

  1. Absorb the excess urine with paper towels. Then, gently blot the area to saturate the urine.
  2. Mix a solution of one tablespoon of mild liquid detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of warm water.
  3. Using a clean cloth to apply mixture to the stain. Gently and slowly work the mixture into the stain until it is gone.
  4. Rinse the stain with warm water and a clean cloth to remove the detergent and vinegar.
  5. Lay the item out flat and allow it to air dry.

Once the item has fully dried, you can check the stain to see if any signs of it remain. If any of the urine is still apparent, you can repeat the cleaning process until the stain is completely gone.
