How to Easily Remove Tree Sap Stains from Wallpaper
Tree sap stains on wallpaper can be a daunting problem for many homeowners. Materials
- Plastic gloves
- Absorbent cloth
- Vinegar
- White Toothpaste
- Soft Cloth
Instructions
- Put on your plastic gloves.
- Mix one part vinegar and three parts water in a bowl.
- Dip absorbent cloth in the mixture and wring out the excess liquid.
- Gently dab the stained area with the damp cloth and the solution.
- Allow the solution to set for 15 minutes before wiping up with a dry absorbent cloth.
- For stubborn stains, use a soft cloth and white toothpaste. Gently rub the toothpaste into the stained area and then wipe off with a damp cloth.
Tips
- Test any cleaning method first on an inconspicuous area of wallpaper to make sure it will not damage wallpaper.
- After cleaning the area with vinegar, use a soft cloth and water to remove any residue, otherwise the wallpaper may be discolored.
