- Start by softening the sap with either rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover, both of which are available at most drug stores. Using a soft cloth or cotton ball, gently dab the affected area with either solution.
- Once the sap has been softened, use a small brush to remove any residue.
- Create a sudsy lather using some mild dishwashing soap and warm water. Gently scrub the area with soapy cloth or brush.
- Rinse off the soap with clean water, then wipe the area dry with a clean cloth.
