How To Clean Tree Sap Stains From Superga Shoes

  1. Start by softening the sap with either rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover, both of which are available at most drug stores. Using a soft cloth or cotton ball, gently dab the affected area with either solution.
  2. Once the sap has been softened, use a small brush to remove any residue.
  3. Create a sudsy lather using some mild dishwashing soap and warm water. Gently scrub the area with soapy cloth or brush.
  4. Rinse off the soap with clean water, then wipe the area dry with a clean cloth.
  5. If there is still some residue, try dabbing the area with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover one more time.
