The first step in removing tree sap stains is to gather the necessary supplies. For this task, you will need:
Add a cup of white vinegar to a bowl of warm water, then soak skirt for at least five minutes. This will help loosen the sap and make it easier to remove.
Mix a few tablespoons of baking soda with a small amount of dry cleaning solvent to make a paste. Apply paste to the sap stain and scrub gently with an old toothbrush.
Rinse the skirt in warm water, then repeat steps one and two until sap stain is gone. Be sure to check fabric for any remaining sap and scrub gently as needed.
Once the sap stain has been removed, hang the skirt up to air dry in a well-ventilated area. Once dry, it is ready to be worn once again!
