Start by using a cotton swab to pick off any excess sap from the fabric. Be careful not to spread the sap around even more. If the sap is dried, it should come away easily.
Soak your cleaning cloth in a basin of warm water. Make sure to wring out the excess moisture before proceeding.
Mix a few drops of mild detergent into the wet cleaning cloth. Test the cloth on a small, inconspicuous area of the garment to make sure it won't cause discoloration or other damage to the fabric.
Gently rub the stained area with cloth. Try to limit the pressure you apply in order to avoid further staining fabric. Keep rubbing until sap has been completely removed.
Rinse the area with cold water and inspect it for any remaining stains. If there are, repeat steps 4 and 5 until the stain has been completely removed.
Let the fabric air dry, then inspect it for any remaining stains. If the fabric is still stained, repeat steps 4 - 6 until the stain is gone.
