Getting tree sap out of clothing can seem like an impossible task, especially if it’s a delicate material like silk gazar. Luckily, you don’t have to give up on your clothes just yet! Here are the steps you need to take to banish sap stains from your favorite garments:

What You’ll Need

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Soap
  • Soft cloth
  • Hair dryer

Instructions

  1. If the sap is still wet, carefully scrape away as much as possible using a blunt edge.
  2. Pour some rubbing alcohol onto a clean cloth and blot the affected area to dissolve the rest of the sap.
  3. Mix a few drops of soap with cold water and dab the area with a damp cloth. Don’t scrub or rub the stain; instead, gently lift the stain off the fabric.
  4. Place the garment in front of a fan or use a blow dryer to blow cool air over the fabric and help the stain dry faster. Avoid using hot air.
  5. Once the sap is fully dry, check to make sure the stain has been removed. If not, repeat previous steps as needed.

These simple steps can help you easily remove sap stains from your silk gazar clothes. Remember to always test any cleaning solutions on a hidden part of the fabric first to make sure they won't cause any additional damage.
