Tree sap is one of the most difficult stains to remove from fabric. If you’ve recently had a run-in with a sticky tree, you know how difficult it can be to get the sap out of your fabric. Fortunately, there are some reliable methods for removing tree sap stains from scrubs, some of which require nothing more than items you probably already have in your home.
Once you’ve used one of methods above to remove the tree sap, you should then launder the garment like you normally would. Make sure to inspect garment after washing to make sure that the stain has been completely removed. If not, you can repeat the process until the stain is gone.
It's also important to note that when freezing tree sap, fabric can easily become damaged if you’re not careful. Be sure to hold the ice cube against the stain and never allow the cube to come into direct contact with the fabric. Additionally, it's best to let the fabric thaw before attempting to remove the sap.
Removing tree sap from scrubs is usually not a pleasant task, but with the right techniques and materials, it doesn't have to be a daunting one. Whether it’s freezing stain, rubbing alcohol, WD-40, or soapy water, one of these methods should do the trick and get those troublesome sap stains out of your scrubs.
