First, you will want to start by soaking up any excess sap with a cloth or paper towel. Then, moisten a cotton ball or soft cloth with rubbing alcohol or nail-polish remover and press it gently against the sap stain. This should help to dissolve the sap and help it lift off the fabric. Be sure to continue testing the fabric periodically to make sure the cleaning solution isn't damaging the satin fabric.

If the rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover fails to remove the sap stain, you can use a grease-fighting dish soap. Simply dab a small amount of the soap onto the stain and work it into fabric using a soft brush before rinsing it off with water. You may need to repeat this process several times to get rid of the sap stain.

If all else fails, you can try using a stain remover spray. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and test it on an inconspicuous part of the fabric in case it damages satin. You can then apply the spray directly to the sap stain and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes before washing the fabric normally.

It is important to note that although these methods to remove tree sap stains from satin fabrics should work, they may not necessary guarantee total removal. If stain is particularly large or stubborn, it is best to take it to a professional dry cleaner.
