Step 1: Scrape off as Much Sap as Possible

The first step in removing tree sap from your pullover is to scrape off as much of it as possible with a dull knife. Make sure not to press too hard, as this could damage the fabric. Once you’ve scraped off as much sap as possible, you can move on to the next step.

Step 2: Soak Stained Area in Cold Water

Once you’ve scraped off most of the sap, soak the stained area in cold water for about 15 minutes. This will help break down any remaining sap and make it easier to remove. After 15 minutes, remove the pullover and inspect the stain to see if any sap is still present.

Step 3: Apply Rubbing Alcohol

If there is still sap present after soaking in cold water, the next step is to apply rubbing alcohol to stained area. Allow the rubbing alcohol to sit on the sap for a few minutes before dabbing or scrubbing with a damp cloth. Continue this process until the stain is gone. You may need to repeat the process if the stain does not come out completely the first time.

Conclusion

Tree sap can be tough to remove from pullovers, but with these three simple steps, you should be able to get rid of those pesky stains in no time. So scrape off as much sap as you can, then soak the area in cold water and apply rubbing alcohol until the stain is gone.
