In the bucket of warm water, add a small amount of liquid laundry detergent or pet-safe stain remover. Soak stained area for about 15 minutes, then gently blot the area with a soft cloth or sponge.
Gently blot out any remaining sap with a wet cloth. If there’s still some sap left over, apply a small amount of vinegar directly onto the sap and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Then blot the area again with a wet cloth.
Mix together baking soda and a small amount of water to create a thick paste. Apply the paste directly onto the sap and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Finally, use a brush or scrubbing pad to remove any remaining sap.
Rinse off the area with cool water and let it air dry. Do not use hot water during this step, as it may set sap stains into the fabric.
