The first step to removing tree sap stains from panties is to identify the type of stain. If the stain is fresh and still wet, then a dry-cleaning solvent should be used. If the stain is dried or has been sitting for a while, then a stronger detergent should be used. Knowing the type of stain will ensure the most effective results.
Once the type of stain has been identified, it’s important to pre-treat the stain before washing. To do this, mix a few drops of liquid dish soap with some water and apply the mixture directly to the stained area. Allow it to sit for at least 10 minutes so soap can work on breaking down the sap. Then, lightly scrub the area with a soft brush or cloth.
Once the pre-treatment is complete, it’s time to wash the panties. Use a regular laundry detergent and a gentle cycle to thoroughly clean the fabric. Since tree sap stains can be stubborn, it may be necessary to repeat washing process more than once in order to fully remove the stain. Additionally, you can add a capful of white vinegar to the wash cycle in order to help remove any remaining sap residue.
