Tree sap is a sticky substance that can get stuck on anything it falls on, including clothing and shoes. When tree sap gets on your Oxfords it can be difficult to remove, causing the fabric to become stained and discolored. Fortunately, there are a few ways to get rid of the tree sap stains and restore your Oxfords to their original glory.

What You’ll Need:

  • White vinegar
  • Dish soap
  • Warm water
  • Soft-bristled brush
  • Soft cloth

Instructions:

  1. Begin by mixing some warm water and white vinegar together in a bowl.
  2. Add a few drops of dish soap to the mixture and stir until it is foamy.
  3. Using the soft-bristled brush, gently scrub the affected area of the Oxfords with the foamy mixture.
  4. Allow mixture to sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off with a damp cloth.
  5. Once area has been rinsed off, use a dry soft cloth to pat the Oxfords dry.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 as needed until the tree sap stain has been successfully removed.
