  1. Start by gently rubbing area affected with a brush or towel until excess sap is removed.
  2. Mix equal parts of white vinegar and water, and apply it to the stained area.
  3. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then blot the area with a damp cloth. Repeat this process as needed until the stain is gone.
  4. Rinse the area with cold water and let it air dry.

You may need to repeat the above steps a few times, depending on the severity of the stain. If the stain is still there after the first try, you can also try using a commercial spot remover designed for tree sap.
