5 Simple Steps to Remove Tree Sap Stains From Your Lawn

Tree sap can be hard to get off of your lawn, leaving behind sticky and unsightly stains. But don’t despair; there are a few things you can try to remove tree sap from your grass.

  • Start by using an ice cube to freeze the sap and make it easier to remove.
  • Next, use a scraper or knife to gently scrape away any hardened sap.
  • After the hardened sap is removed, spray the area with your Garden hose to loosen and remove any remaining sap.
  • If necessary, use a small amount of a mild dish soap or all-natural soap on the stained area.
  • Rinse the area thoroughly with your Garden hose and repeat as necessary.

Once you have removed the sap from the area, be sure to fertilize and water the grass regularly to help thicken it and prevent future staining.
