Materials Needed

  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • ¼ cup rubbing alcohol
  • Cotton swab
  • Protective gloves and goggles
  • Piece of aluminum foil
  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Towel

Steps For Cleaning

  1. Mix equal parts white vinegar and rubbing alcohol in a bowl.
  2. Put on protective gloves and goggles.
  3. Put the stained headband into the mixture and let it soak for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Take the headband out of mixture and wipe it down with a towel.
  5. Now, use a cotton swab to dab the remaining stains.
  6. Once all of the sap has been removed, use the aluminum foil to remove any extra grease left behind by buffing
  7. Finally, rinse the headband in warm water and let it air dry.
