Eliminate Sticky Tree Sap from Georgette the Easy Way
Tree sap is sticky and difficult to remove from fabrics, but it doesn’t have to be a headache. With the right steps, you can easily and safely remove tree sap stains from georgette fabrics.

What You Need:
- Rubbing alcohol
- Toothbrush or soft-bristled brush
- Dry cleaning solvent
- Cloth or cotton swab
Instructions:
- Use a knife to scrape off any excess tree sap from fabric.
- Saturate a cloth or cotton swab with rubbing alcohol and gently rub it into the affected area of the fabric.
- If the stain is more severe, you can gently scrub the affected area with a toothbrush or soft-bristled brush.
- Repeat the rubbing alcohol and brushing process until the stain has been removed.
- Apply a dry cleaning solvent to the affected area and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Gently scrub the stain with a toothbrush or soft-bristled brush, then rinse thoroughly with cool water.
- Allow fabric to air dry, then check to see if the stain has been completely removed.
Tips:
- For stubborn stains, repeat this process as needed.
- Be sure to test any chemicals in an inconspicuous area before using on fabric.
- Always spot clean using gentlest method first.
