Tree sap is often a problem for outdoor furniture, as it can stick and mar the surface if untreated. To get rid of tree sap from furniture, you'll need a few materials, including olive oil, a soft cloth, dish detergent, baking soda, and vinegar:
Apply a light layer of olive oil on the sap-stained area of your furniture, and let it sit for around 20 minutes. This will help to soften the sap and make it easier to remove. Be sure to use a soft cloth when applying, to avoid scratching the surface of your furniture.
Mix a solution of dish detergent, baking soda, and white vinegar. Using a damp cloth, apply the paste to the sap-stained area and gently rub it into the surface with a circular motion. Continue working in small circles until sap has lifted from surface.
Once all the sap has been removed, use a clean, damp cloth to wipe away the paste. For stubborn spots, repeat steps 1 and 2 as needed. Rinse the area with warm water and dry it off with a soft cloth.
