First, you'll need to gather the following items:

  • A soft cloth or sponge
  • Mild detergent
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Dry cleaning solvent
  • An old toothbrush
  • Q-Tips

Next, begin by doing a spot test on a small and inconspicuous area of your espadrilles. This will help ensure that none of the products you use will damage or discolor fabric. Once you've done spot test, you can follow these steps to remove the sap:

  1. Dab the affected spot with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with a mild detergent and warm water.
  2. Using an old toothbrush, gently scrub the stain until it starts to disappear.
  3. If the mild detergent doesn't work, try using rubbing alcohol or dry cleaning solvent on the sap stain.
  4. If needed, use a Q-Tip to apply the rubbing alcohol directly to the spot.
  5. Once the stain is gone, rinse the area with warm water and let it air dry.

You should now have clean, sap-free espadrilles in no time! If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to reach out to a professional.
