  • Spoon or dull knife
  • Scrub brush
  • Laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Paper towels

Steps to Remove Tree Sap Stains

  1. Use a spoon or dull knife to carefully scrape off any dried-on sap.
  2. Take a damp scrub brush and use it to gently rub the affected area.
  3. Mix together a solution of laundry detergent and warm water. Soak stained area for 15 minutes. Rinse well.
  4. Mix together equal parts white vinegar and water. Soak the stained area for 15 minutes. Rinse well.
  5. If the stain persists, apply rubbing alcohol directly to the stained area and dab with a paper towel. The sap should lift out of the fabric.
