  1. Put the stained area under cold running water until all the sap has been removed.
  2. Prepare a solution of 3 tablespoons of liquid dishwashing soap, 2 tablespoons of white vinegar, and 1 quart of warm water.
  3. Soak the stained area in the prepared mixture for 10 minutes.
  4. Using a clean cloth or sponge, gently scrub the affected area with the solution.
  5. Rinse off the affected area with cold water.
  6. Blot the area with a dry cloth to soak up any remaining moisture.
