Cotton gingham is a classic style of fabric that has been around for many centuries. It's known for its checkered pattern and lightweight feel, which makes it great for any type of garment or home décor item. Unfortunately, if your cotton gingham fabric has been stained with tree sap, you may be wondering how to remove the stain without damaging the delicate fabric.

Your first step should be to gently blot the tree sap stain with a soft cloth. This will help to lift away some of the excess sap and should be done before applying any product to the fabric. Make sure to use a clean cloth, as a dirty cloth could transfer other debris and make the stain worse.
Mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of warm water. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and apply it to the tree sap stain. Blot the stain gently with cloth to help lift away the stain. Do not scrub the fabric, as this could cause further damage.
Once the stain is removed, rinse the fabric with cool water. Then lay it on a flat surface and allow it to air dry. Do not put it in the dryer, as the heat may set the stain.
