What You Need to Clean Tree Sap Stains

  • Mild soap
  • Soft cloth
  • Paper towel
  • Alcohol-based cleaner

Step 1: Wet the Stain with Soap and Water

Using a soft cloth and mild soap, wet the area with soapy water. Be careful not to saturate the fabric as this could cause further damage. Allow soap to sit on the stain for a few minutes before rinsing with clean water.

Step 2: Apply an Alcohol-Based Cleaner

If the stain persists, take a paper towel and dampen it with an alcohol-based cleaner. Gently dab the area without rubbing. Again, be careful not to saturate fabric with the solution. Rinse cleaner off afterward using clean water.

Step 3: Let Air Dry

Once the area is clean, let it air dry completely. Do not use any hairdryers or other heated tools on the fabric until it is dry.
