How to Easily Remove Tree Sap Stains From Your Business Suit
Tree sap is a nuisance for any suit owner. Its sticky, gooey residue is difficult to remove without the right methods and if not attended to quickly, could cause permanent stains. Luckily, there's an easy way to remedy this issue with a few simple steps.

What You'll Need
- A vacuum cleaner
- Paper towels
- Rubbing alcohol
- Baking soda
- Wool & cashmere shampoo/detergent
Instructions
- Vacuum up as much of the sap residue as possible. Be sure to go in all different directions to ensure that all of the sap is removed.
- Wet a paper towel and lightly dab the area with rubbing alcohol to remove the sap.
- Mix some baking soda and detergent together to make a paste. Apply the paste to the affected area and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Rinse off the paste with cold running water.
- If any stain remains, repeat steps 1-4 until the stain is gone.
Tips
- Be sure to use a wool & Cashmere specific detergent.
- Do not use hot water, as it can set the stain and make it more difficult to remove.
