Rubbing alcohol is an effective way to remove tree sap from delicate fabric like a bodycon dress. To get started, saturate a sponge or cloth in rubbing alcohol and dab it onto stain. Once the area is saturated, gently rub the fabric together to help loosen the sap and get it out of the fabric.
If rubbing alcohol isn't enough to get rid of the sap, hot water can be a great solution. Fill up a bowl with hot water and add a few drops of dish soap. Soak the stained area of bodycon dress in the hot water mixture for a few minutes and then rub the fabric together gently to remove the sap. Once the sap is gone, hang your dress to dry.
If you don't have access to either rubbing alcohol or hot water, laundry detergent can also be used to remove tree sap from delicate fabrics. Simply mix a few drops of laundry detergent with some water and apply it to sap stain. Gently rub the fabric together and let it soak for a few minutes. Rinse off the detergent and hang to dry.
Tree sap stains on a bodycon dress can be a real nuisance, but by using rubbing alcohol, hot water, or laundry detergent, these stains can easily be removed. Follow these tips above for getting rid of tree sap stains on your bodycon dress quickly and safely.
