First of all, determine the type of fabric. It’s important to use cleaning products and techniques that are specific to the fabric of the blouse. If the fabric is delicate, it’s best to avoid using products with strong chemical ingredients.

If you're unsure of what type of fabric is used in blouse, take it to a dry cleaner for cleaning. Professionals have access to materials and techniques that are safer for more delicate fabrics. In addition, professional cleaners will be able to advise on the best way to handle the stain based on the garment material.

If the blouse is made of sturdy material such as cotton, polyester, or nylon, there are several things that can be done to remove the tree sap stain. Begin by scraping off any hardened tree sap with a blunt-edged object such as a spoon or butter knife. This will help loosen the sap and make it easier to remove.

Next, use a clean cloth to help lift the remaining sap gently by blotting the affected area. Do not rub, as this may cause the sap to spread and set deeper into the material. Instead, dab with cloth and use a mild detergent to help dissolve the sap if necessary.

Once the sap has been removed, launder as directed on the clothing item’s care label. If the sap has already dried on the fabric, consider pretreating stain before washing.

For more stubborn tree sap stains, try soaking the garment in a mixture of cool water and enzyme-based laundry detergent. The detergent should be left on the garment for at least 15 minutes or until sap is completely dissolved.

Finally, wash the garment according to its care label. If tree sap stain does not come out after the first wash, repeat the steps above or take the garment to a professional dry cleaner for assistance.
