Start by taking your soft cloth and gently dabbing the stained area to remove any excess sap. Make sure to work in circular motions and avoid scrubbing in order to not further damage the surface.
Saturate stained area with isopropyl alcohol. Let it sit for about two minutes and then blot with a soft cloth. Repeat these steps until sap has been removed.
Create a mixture of one tablespoon of dish-washing liquid with one cup of water in your bowl. Next, dip your soft cloth in this mixture and begin to wash the affected area. Rinse with cold water after washing.
Do one final check of the stained area and make sure that the tree sap stain has been removed completely. If the stain remains, repeat Steps 2 and 3.
Removing tree sap stains from ASICS shoes can be done easily with the right materials. As long as you follow the steps above, your shoes will be good as new in no time!
