Tree sap stains may seem difficult to remove, but don't worry — you can get rid of them in no time with a few simple steps.
Using an orangewood stick, try removing as much of tree sap off the anorak as possible. Be gentle and do not scrape, as this could damage the fabric.
Soak a few cotton balls in white vinegar and blot the stained area gently. Do not rub or scrub, as this can cause the stained area to spread.
Allow the vinegar to work for at least 10 minutes, then rinse off anorak with water.
Make a paste of baking soda and water and apply it to the stained area. Allow it to sit for 15-30 minutes, then rinse it off with water and a damp cloth.
If any tree sap stain remains, repeat Steps 2 to 4.
Once all the tree sap is gone, wash the anorak as you would normally.
Dry the anorak on a flat surface. Avoid direct sunlight or heat, as this may cause the stain to set permanently.
Congratulations! Your anorak is free from tree sap stains.
