What You'll Need
- White vinegar
- Lint-free cloth or paper towels
- Cool water
Instructions
- Blot the stained area using a lint-free cloth or a paper towel. Be sure to blot gently and avoid rubbing it, as this can spread stain.
- Mix together two tablespoons of white vinegar and one cup of cool water in a bowl.
- Using a clean cloth, apply the vinegar and water solution to stained area.
- Allow it to sit for about five minutes before blotting the area again with a dry cloth.
- Repeat this process until stain is gone.
Additional Tips
- If the stain persists, try using a mild detergent solution instead of the vinegar and water solution.
- Be sure to read the care instructions on the label of the fabric before applying any type of solution.
- Once the stain is gone, allow area to air-dry completely before putting the fabric back into use.
