Removing toothpaste stains from tunic is easier said than done. Tunic fabrics are often delicate, making it difficult to get rid of the stains without damaging the clothing. To safely clean your tunic, you should start by gently scraping away any excess paste using a blunt object. Then, rinse the area with cold water, taking care to not spread the stain further.
Pre-treat the toothpaste stain with a spot cleaner or detergent. Once you've done this, launder the tunic on a gentle cycle in washing machine. Check that the stain has been successfully removed before putting it into the dryer.
If you still see traces of the stain after washing, try soaking tunic in warm water and a few tablespoons of white vinegar for up to 30 minutes. Then, rinse the area with cold water and apply a soapy mixture (use a mild soap such as dishwashing liquid) onto the stained area. Rub the fabric together to loosen the stain, and rinse again.
If the stain persists, try applying a pre-wash stain remover onto fabric. Let the solution sit for a few minutes, then rub the area together until the paste has been completely removed. Rinse and repeat if necessary. Finally, launder the tunic as usual.
Cleaning toothpaste stains can be tricky, but with a few simple steps and the right products, you can easily tackle the problem and restore your tunic to its former glory.
