No one likes to be stuck with toothpaste stains, but luckily, they don't have to stay there! Here's how to clean those pesky toothpaste stains and get your gear looking like new again:
The first step in removing toothpaste stains is to dilute them with water. Dip a damp cloth into lukewarm water, and then wring out the cloth until it's only slightly damp. Gently rub the surface of the stained area with the damp cloth. This should help reduce intensity of the stain, making it easier to clean in next step.
For the next step, mix a few drops of mild detergent or dish soap with some lukewarm water. Dip a sponge into the soapy water and gently rub the stained area. This should remove most of the toothpaste residue.
If the toothpaste stain is still visible after following Steps 1 and 2, try using white vinegar. To do this, mix a teaspoon of white vinegar with 1/2 cup of water. Next, dip a clean cloth into the solution and gently rub stained area. This should help remove any leftover toothpaste residue.
Finally, allow the tent or camping gear to air dry thoroughly. Once the item has fully dried, you should be able to enjoy your camping gear free from pesky toothpaste stains!
