The best way to get toothpaste stains out of fabric is to act quickly. If you notice the stain right away, start by blotting up as much of toothpaste as possible. You can use a damp cloth and a little bit of dish soap. Then, take a spoon and scrape away any excess toothpaste residue until the stain is mostly gone. Finally, rinse the affected area with cold water and repeat until the stain is completely removed.
For more stubborn stains, you'll have to attack them with a bit more force. Start by using an old toothbrush to scrub away at the fabric. You can also try using a cloth soaked in warm water with a few drops of dish soap. This should help to loosen up the stain and make it easier to remove. If you still can't get stain out, you can try using a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes before scrubbing again. Rinse with cold water and repeat until the stain is gone.
Since toothpaste uses a few abrasive ingredients, it's important to be gentle when cleaning stained fabrics. Avoid harsh scrubbing as this could damage the fabric or cause the stain to spread. Also, if the stain doesn't come out after several attempts, it's best to seek professional help to avoid any further damage.
