Toothpaste can be a tricky thing to clean off of surfaces - it can be difficult to remove even with regular household cleaners. But don’t fret! With the right approach, you can easily get rid of toothpaste stains from your pump. Here’s what you need to do:

Step 1: Gather Your Cleaning Supplies

You’ll need some basic cleaning supplies to get the job done, such as a soft cloth, vinegar, mild detergent, baking soda, and water. Make sure you have all the materials you need before you begin.

Step 2: Start by Wiping Away Excess Toothpaste

With a damp cloth, wipe away any excess toothpaste that is still on the surface of your pump. Be sure to use a gentle motion and avoid scrubbing or scrubbing too hard - that could damage the surface of your pump.

Step 3: Create a Vinegar-Baking Soda Paste

In a small bowl, mix together equal parts vinegar and baking soda until you’ve created a thick paste. Apply this paste directly to the stains on your pump and allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes.

Step 4: Scrub with a Soft Bristle Brush

After 15-20 minutes, use a soft-bristled brush to scrub the paste into the stains. This should help to loosen and lift the stubborn toothpaste stains from the surface of your pump.

Step 5: Rinse and Dry

Once the stains have been removed, rinse area with warm water and dry with a clean towel. You should now have a nice, stain-free pump.

Tips for Preventing Toothpaste Stains

The best way to deal with toothpaste stains is to avoid them in the first place! To make sure that you don’t have to do the same cleaning process again, try the following tips:

  • Always keep the lid of your toothpaste cap closed when not in use.
  • Wipe down the pump after each use.
  • Use a separate cloth for wiping down the pump, as using the same one for cleaning sink and countertops may cause toothpaste stains.

By following these simple steps, you can keep your pump looking like new for much longer.
