Before you start scrubbing, make sure you soak your shoes in cold water for at least 15 minutes. This will help loosen the toothpaste stain before you move on to the next step.
Mix together one tablespoon of baking soda and two tablespoons of cold water. Once combined, the paste should have a thick consistency. Apply the paste directly onto the toothpaste stain and make sure it’s spread evenly.
Let paste sit on the stain for at least five minutes. Use a soft cloth or toothbrush to gently scrub away the residue. Be sure to use circular motions when scrubbing. Once you have removed the stain, rinse off leftover paste with cold water.
It’s important not to put the shoes into washing machine or dryer. Use a soft cloth to dab away any extra water from shoes. Then, let the shoes air dry in a cool, dry area.
