What You'll Need
- Mild detergent (like baby or hand soap)
- Hydrogen peroxide
- White vinegar
- Soft bristle brush
- Bowl of cool water
- Absorbent towel
Steps to Remove the Stain
- Mix together a solution of ¼ teaspoon of detergent and 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl.
- Soak the stained portion of the garment in the bowl for 15 minutes.
- Scrub stained area with a soft bristle brush for 1 minute.
- Rinse the garment in a bowl of cool water for about 5 minutes.
- Mix together a solution of 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 1 cup of cool water.
- Dip the stained area into vinegar solution and let it soak for 10 minutes.
- Use the soft bristle brush to gently scrub stained area again.
- Rinse the area with cool water.
- Blot the area with a towel to absorb any remaining moisture.
