Start by mixing together baking soda and white vinegar until you form a paste. Apply this paste directly to the toothpaste stain and allow it to sit for at least 15 minutes.
Once the paste has had a chance to set, use a soft cloth or an old toothbrush to scrub the paste into the fabric. This will help break up the stain and loosen it from fabric.
Next, launder the polo shirt in the washing machine using warm water and a liquid detergent. Don’t use any other laundry products, like fabric softener, as these can make the stain worse.
Before drying the shirt, apply a small amount of oxygen bleach to the stain and let it stand for 5 minutes. This will help break down any remaining stain particles.
Finally, machine dry your shirt on the lowest setting or air dry if preferred. If the stain is still visible after washing, repeat process until stain is completely removed.
