Getting rid of toothpaste stains is a common problem that many homeowners face when cleaning their pavers and concrete surfaces. It can be difficult to remove especially if the stain has had time to dry and set in. Don’t worry though - there are several solutions that can help you get the job done quickly and easily! Here are a few tips for cleaning toothpaste off of your pavers and concrete:
- First, try using a pressure washer. A pressure washer with detergent can be effective in breaking down the dried toothpaste and removing the stain. Be sure to use a detergent specifically designed for exterior surfaces – do not use household cleaners.
- If a pressure washer is not available, try using an abrasive scrub brush or an old rag soaked in a mixture of water and a mild soap. Scrub the area until the toothpaste stain is removed and then rinse with water.
- Another method for removing toothpaste stains is to use a commercial paver stone cleaner. Carefully read the instructions and be sure to dilute the cleaner according to the directions.
- For tough, set-in stains, try using a paver stain remover. Apply the remover according to instructions and let it sit for the designated amount of time. Then scrub the area and rinse it clean.
- Finally, if the above methods don’t remove the stain, consider using a paver sealer to paint over it. This may be necessary for very difficult stains that cannot be removed by any other means.
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully remove toothpaste stains from your pavers and concrete surfaces. Keep in mind that regular cleaning will help prevent the buildup of stains, so make sure to keep up with the maintenance of your outdoor surfaces.
